Launched out of Chesapeake Beach with Art Reynolds at 1 PM. Ran over to Stone Rock and #6 in the Choptank in an unsuccessful search for breakers. Finally had a school come up top, but they vanished as soon as we got over them. Caught spot at Choptank #9, some eating size. Went over to Stone Rock and worked that area along the drop off up to Poplar. We only succeeded in feeding the spot to occasional bluefish. Went back over to Holland Point and Chesapeake Beach as the sun set. Saw nothing except some peanut bunker playing on the surface. Total catch: 1 blue, 1 flounder, and some spot.

No tidal current all day long. Bright sun in the day and a bright moon at night. We marked predator fish all over the place, but they were glued to the bottom and would not eat.

Back at the ramp, we saw 2 guys with a limit of blues. They had bottom fished with cut menhadden near the Breezy Point can buoy.
