Fished with the BEAST today. Plenty of rock around the 4A. All fish caught drifting eels. Fish in the 36-38 inch range with plenty of sharks. Stayed out to long. The front came thru, the wind shifted and all of a sudden it was 3-5 feet. The beast did a great job getting us in safely on his 20 footer. Temperature dropping fast out there while cleaning fish. Hope everyone else made it in OK.

Glad to know they are still there I wanted to head that way today but decided to go south instead. Sounds like you had a better day than we did we only hod one 37 to show for a long ride.

Glad to hear you did well, Mark. And got back home safely.

We left LCrk at 0800 and ran at 28-30kts to just above the VA-NC line. Lines in just after 0900, and we worked that area for over an hour, marking lots of bait, but no action.

Headed back north, stopping off Rudee to troll north. Finally picked up our first fish in early afternoon, a 26" flattie that took a 7" Tomic on the back of a 3-way. Two stripers at 37" and 31" was all we could do. Our neighbor, Jeff, got the bigger one.

Saw the southerly wind go calm and the water flatten. Saw it start to come up from the north, but didn't leave soon enough. Wet ride back from off the Ramada to Lcrk, getting in at 1630.
