Plan on being down to the beach end of March. What can I expect to catch from the
Beach from nags head down to buxton
Will have my 2 grandsons 14&10 with me so not looking to set world on fire. Just good time
With the boys

Depends on the water. Specks, Red Drum, Flounder, and Blue should all be active if you are tossing grubs/metal spoons. Blues, drum, dogfish, mullet, and sugar toads if bottom fishing. The further south you go the better. The labrador current is still winning on the north side of the point in terms of water temps often times until late May. You can get good pushes of warmer water in March but it doesn't last long. Temps will be 10 warmer on the south side of the Point or just around it from Avon south than they will be in Nags Head. You can get good days up north especially around the inlet but if you want to raise your average go south.
