I am headed down to Pompano Beach for the long weekend. We plan on setting up on the 1,000' line and trying our luck at some Sword fishing. Our set up is going to have a light source near the boat with a 4 lines rigged with squid/lightsticks/Tinker Macs (if we can catch any). We have a couple of GPS locations that place us 14 miles from the inlet. The question I have is, should we chum and will that bring too many toothy critters? Does the lack of a moon come into play?
