MAD Tidewater 2015 is only 15 days away!

Show your support for active duty military troops and their families.

Register your boat to take an active duty service man/woman out fishing on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Leave/return any port - just be back in time to join their families and us at Wallace's Bait and Tackle for a family style picnic (fried chicken, hot dogs, brats, and lots more).

Captain's bucket with goodies! Free Calcutta T-Shirt! Free food! It doesn't get much better!

Plus, you'll have the satisfaction of providing "One, Simple Thanks!" to our military heroes.

Please help us leave no troops at the dock!

Plus, still need fish cleaners, baloon magicians, face painters.

Volunteer at www.militaryappreciationday.org and select the MAD Tidewater event! :usa:

If any of these military families are fishing with Jr. Anglers or especially Special Anglers (intellectually disabled), please pass on your catch and releases pics ... we'd love to add them to our hall of fame catch and release leaderboard http://content.fishdispatch.com/Leaderboards/SpecialAnglerVMRCLeaderboard.html

If you provide us all the pics for six catch and release species (for Jr. Anglers, 15 and younger), we would be glad to help these military dads and moms submit the paperwork for the VMRC Jr. Angler award that is signed by the Virginia Governor. Information about the VMRC award program can be found on our www.SpecialAngler.org website and also the VMRC website. It is a great program. You might even score on the state record during your outing and help bring in the $75 cash prize for your Jr. Angler. There is $225 in cash prizes for Jr. Special Anglers still sitting on the table for 2015.

Godspeed to all supporting the MAD ... and we hope for great weather.
