Had an awesome bunch of guys up from Wilmington wanting to go catch some stripers so instead of a bunch of small schoolies, they were willing to deal with the pssibility of an extended wait for the tide to turn and catch some slobs. Got to the High Rise and got situated, waited out the slack tide then we started catchin. We had eels set at all different depths and we adjusted to where we were getting bites and marking fish. The first 2 fish came on bottom rods and ended up being young Zacks biggest fish to date, which he hooked and cranked in all by himself! and Alex caught his biggest Striper also. Alex's fish went 46 and Zacks was 44. Shortly after Zacks dad Matt caught one on a bobber that was 42. We moved around a little bit and found another group of fish around 1:30am and caught about 20 fish between 26" and 34" finishing our 6 man limit with a fishbox that wouldnt hold another fish. They are all talking about coming back in another month or so and catching some more!

I am having some problems getting pictures off it, but they will come soon!

Nice job! We were down there too and managed 4 in the slot and 2 around 40 inches, one 36 pounder. Great night out there. The bay really laid down in the evening.
