Good, honest post, Jim. You're right in that one can't stem the tide of "change". But, if you bite, kick and scratch, you sure can put if off for awhile.[smile]
And while you're at it cleaning up the bay, why don't you talk some of those Marylanders into not sending so much sewage and runoff down this way.[smile]
Also, speaking of the declining quality of water, menhaden, rockfish, etc...most people I know are catching as many rockfish as ever, and just as large as ever. Maybe you're doing something wrong??[grin]

As usual, Dave, anyone that disagrees with you is a loser.
Take it easy on the kid. Even if he is incorrect on a couple things, I sense he genuinely cares about the situation in the bay.

Good point. I hope the kid comes back. If he's a graduate student from Virginia Institute of Marine Science, he comes from an impressive school, not a "VMRC looser" as he was incorrectly and irresponsibly labeled, and probably has a better grasp of real facts and evidence than most of us.[smile]
