Fellas,
If you remember last year, DNR proposed that if the flats didn't reach a certain temp before the scheduled close date, they would keep it open. Well, it didn't reach that temp by the close date, but they still closed it. Sounds like they plan to do the same thing this year with a goal @ 65 degrees before May 3. According to the DNR website that monitoring station is hovering right around 50 degrees. That means a 15 degree warm up over the next 20 or so days. So, do you think that the temp will go that high that quickly, and do you think that DNR will actually keep it open past May 3 this year?? I think it will be interesting to see what happens!:fishing2:

The way things are going this year, we will probably have 90 degree weather the week before May 3rd.

However, we will find out on May 7th, if it will reopen on May 16th, instead of June 1.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to make a decision.
