Fellas,
If you remember last year, DNR proposed that if the flats didn't reach a certain temp before the scheduled close date, they would keep it open. Well, it didn't reach that temp by the close date, but they still closed it. Sounds like they plan to do the same thing this year with a goal @ 65 degrees before May 3. According to the DNR website that monitoring station is hovering right around 50 degrees. That means a 15 degree warm up over the next 20 or so days. So, do you think that the temp will go that high that quickly, and do you think that DNR will actually keep it open past May 3 this year?? I think it will be interesting to see what happens!:fishing2:
