With water in the mid 40's, the small Threadfins are starting to die off. Unfortunately, the Stripers turn in to vacuum cleaners and eat the dead off the bottom. Fish can still be caught through traditional methods, but jigging may be your best bet. Small heavy, white jigs work well jigged around big bait schools, be sure to hit the bottom. Temps seemed the warmest mid way back in most creeks. 46 seemed the warmest on Sun.
