I know it might be a drive for some anglers living in Southern Virginia and parts of NC, but thought I would post here for those in the upper reaches:

Hi Gang,

If you are looking for some things to do this weekend to incorporate into your fishing adventures there are a few Tidal Fish events happening.

Sat Sept 24, 2005 Event
Capt. Capt. Pete Dahlberg along with Captain Skip Slomski along with some local tackle makers who occasionally troll this message board are hosting a fishing seminar along with food and drinks down at Buzzs Marine. There will be boats to look at from Advance Marine, tackle and a lot of Tidal Fish anglers to just shoot the fish stories with.
The event starts at 10am. Capt. Skip will start around 10:15am talking about Trolling and Light Tackle Fishing north of the Bay Bridge followed by Capt. Pete around 11:30AM talking about light tackle and surface plug fishing from the middle bay to the CBBT.
After the talks you can enjoy free food and soda along with browsing local tackle dealers and some new boats. Capt Pete and Skip will talk again from 2-4pm. It should be a good day of fun. For directions and more information see Buzz's website at: http://www.buzzsmarina.com/

Sun Sept 25, 2005 Event
Then on Sunday, it's the annual Tidal Fish Crab Feast put on by the group of crabbers on the Crabbing Message Board. The action starts at 2pm rain or shine at Harewood Park Waterfront Community Hall. This is a great group with some great crabs and food. For full details see: http://www.tidalfish.com/boards2/viewthread.asp?forum=AMB_AP807600392&id=18585

I am going to try to make it to both events if possible. I hope to see everyone there!!!

Good Fishing!

Brandon
