having a brain fart which direction does the water flow when the tide comes in at kent narrows. i think it is going toward eastern bay but i cant remember.

because of the current and volume of the Chester River the current in the narrows usually flows into EB until well into the high tide cycle.....sometimes thru the whole tide cycle.

If you look at a chart, the Chester River is a northerly direction of Kent Narrows.

Since the opening of the bay to the ocean is at the southern end, all flood tides must flow north direction.

Normally a rising tide will cause the current to flow toward the Chester River.
