Arrived at Owls Creek at 0530 only to see a line of boats waiting to launch. Decided to drive to Crab Creek and launch.
Left Crab Creek around 630 and head east to the Traingle Wrecks. The ride was smooth and visibility was about 1 NM. Shortly after, Carolina Melody and Chumlord arrive to the scene.
Chumlord was kind enough to let us follow him around and placed us on several wrecks that produced about 30 keeper Sea Bass and 2 very nice Flounder....one weighing in at 6 lbs. even and the other at 7 lbs. 4 oz.
As the day progressed, the fog got very thick, visibility was less than 50 meters most of the day. Left the Wrecks around 1PM, and headed back in. The skies finally cleared up about 20 miles from shore. A very good thing since there were about a million boats fishing around Cape Henry.
A very special thanks to Chumlord and Carolina Melody. Super nice guys and extremely helpful.
Thanks Again. Catch n' Tales
