In Spring of 2007, I read a report on this board of someone who rigged up a BassAssassin umbrella rig. For two years I have been trolling a chartreuse BassAssassin 6 arm umbrella rig and have caught a lot of stripers. I use an 8 inch curly tail on 4oz bucktail jig as trailing bait. Also rigged up a white rig that also caught a few fish. In 2007 it (chartreuse) was my best rig in late May and June catching 18" to 26" stripers. Pics below of umbrella and some of the catches:

A few years ago me and a couple friends of mine were jigging BAs in the summer time, We were catching fish but not to great. I decided to just troll the BAs around and you couldn't keep the lures in the water for more then a few seconds without a fish hitting it. the only problem was that most were swallowing the lures. we caught about 10 fish and about 8 of them swallowed the lures down into their bellies ( all under sized), we had to quit doing it because to many were dying. So for that one time I tried it, it woked, but a little to well
