Spent 4 hours on the James out of Osborn.. 2 Blue's.... 15 lbs and 20 lbs Boats running great. Washed her down and covered her till this cold snap leaves ... Then next trip look like VA Beach
That's what i like best about fishing the James - there are enough big fish to keep folks interested, plus lots of smaller cats so a trip is almost never a bust! The kids just like lots of fish to keep boredom away, while I like looking for a catfish like me...over 40! :fishing2:
refresh me will ya pulleese, osborn is at the end of the road if you go past the turn off for deep bottom right ? launched at deep bottom 12,873 times but never osborn...usually hopewell tho.
heading up that way on Monday next and leaving the catfish boat at home and bring the big boat ......just wondering- thanx P_P
Hey Jamie, Just keep going , past deep Bottom, bout a mile, come around the curve, Osbourne there on left. Nice Ramps. Some good eats, at the Lilly Pad ,in summer . Nice Place.
I'll be out on Monday. Call sign PhishPhinder. I have a Dourgherty Marine, Marlin 150, CC. I'll be on Chnl 68. Probably under the 295 bridge. One of my favorite spots. May try the points south of there.
Hey P_P ....you can go North under the bridge just abit up on your left and fish those wing dams along the back too.....watch for the 295 in the background
