Hit the water yesterday evening after work. First went to the shallows and caught some schoolie rock managed to get a 19 1/2 and a 21. Then decided to spend the rest of the evening bottom fishing. Tried a couple of different spots that didn't produce a lot. Finally found some lumps in 25 feet that gave up some decent spot and a few croaker. All and all a good evening fishing.
Watching that big harvest moon come up over the water and cruising in was almost the best part of the evening. I have never seen so much bait, anchovies I guess, were all over the place but the only thing feeding on them seemed to be gulls.
