Would you rather have a freezer full of deer meat of mixed fish ( flounder, striper, tuna, tile fish dolphin etc ). Tough one, but I vote for fish.

My freezer if full of deer with enough fish when wanted. If anyone cares for some venison I have my large stand up freezer full as my customers enjoy deer dogs. My 1st 2 go for my burger and then dog city. Live in Fredericksburg and don't mind sharing. Mike

Well, if its only between fish and venison, I would say venison. But if there was a choice to put crabs in the freezer, well then I would have to throw out the venison and fish to make room. :thumbup:

I've heard from some hard core travelling hunters that Alaskan Dall sheep is the best game on the planet, with African eland a close second. But I agree, elk trumps white tail deer. Tou can actually cut a good T-bone steak out of an elk.

I had to give this some thought but since I have given away hundreds of pounds of deer meat but rarely give away fish especially flounder. My vote is for fish.

Ditto. I try to make sure all fish is eaten within about 3 months, even with vacuum packing. Venison that is packaged right is good for a year easy.

Sika deer, then whitetail, then fish.
