My best guess right-off is Jann's Netcraft--They cater to the fly-tyer,tackle crafter without the ritzy hullabaloo of some retailers.I think you're looking for Sunrise vises.Very tough, have had the same one since I was a kid--I start to buy a new $200-$400 vise every year, but the old standby works fine thirty years later.I spend that money on rods/reels instead.I also spot dead deer on the side of the road(I know if they were there the day before,or not),and cut their tails off, strip out the core, and soak them in a box of borax(dry, actually) for a couple of months. This gives all the white bucktail I ever need.I buy the colored ones from netcraft, and of course other materials from wherever. Its possible the people at Feather-Craft would have advice on cheap kits to assemble,as well.Oh Yeah,I've gotten Otters, foxes, minks and other, weirder creatures---some creatures I turn over to Fish and Wildlife so they can show the kids, too.Good Luck,GrizzDog!!!I salute you,and your task!
