Some comments regarding things I am aware of.

Sharks . . . New regulations are coming there is a request for public hearing at the commission meeting on the 28th. This means that there will be a public hearing in Nov. or Dec.

Striped bass, one fish or two fish for the last part of December. Public hearing will be held at the commission meeting on the 28th.

Fishing guide license - Makes charter captains limited entry with a control date of June twenty-something. The Oct 28th Commission agenda has a request for public hearing agenda item. Means public hearing and potential regulatory change in Nov. or Dec.

Requirements for priority License of pound nets. . . I suspect that they will be tightening up the tracking rules regarding who has what permit where, etc. I say this because of some of the issues that came up regarding the permits in the lower bay that ended up going to a 5 1/2 hour hearing last month.
