I had good luck in the intercoastal waterway around the red channel markers , but it was later in the year. I think it was the end of March or the first week of April. The guys that really did well were using plain double bottom rigs w/ minnows and were back trolling to reduce their drift speed.

I caught (2) 23" flounder and threw back 12 shorts. The guys that really did well limited out on flounder and most that I saw were well over 20." I fished from about 7:00 AM untill about 11:00 AM, then the wind got up and I took the rental boat back to the dock. To watch these guys work was truly like going to flounder catching school!

You're talking about a previous year during late March/early April..Correct?
