Sorry for the non-fishing post (feel free to move it), but I'm looking for recommendations for an electrician. I had a fairly complicated circuit in my house fail (open neutral) over the weekend, and it needs to be rewired because the wires are really old and cloth-wrapped. I'm getting ready to remodel soon, anyway, so I'm not opposed to wrecking some drywall.

I live in St. Mary's county, and it's probably preferable cost-wise for the electrician to not have to travel far.

Feel free to PM/email me. Thanks in advance.

I had some side job work done for me by an electrician recently. He did great work and reasonable. 443-454-1979 Justin (forgot his last name) He lives in Lex Park and actually came to Ches Beach to put new recessed lights, under cabinet lights, and moved some plugs around for me. -Andy

I have a guy too that would be interested in getting things taken care of for you... let me know if you need his contact info. He also does HVAC (by trade) and can give you a hand with your remodel if you need...

Just a note to the wise: Make sure your electrician is licensed and insured. There are plenty of them out there that work out of their trunks, probably do a good job, however; if you have a problem, or worse yet, their work causes a catastrophic problem, you might find yourself "not covered"

Not a thought, just a sermon

Thanks for all the info and options, guys. It's much appreciated. We'll see how it goes.
