Bobby J, I agree the reports have been sparse so here a few details from 8/10. Started looking for spot at Butlers hole around 10:00. Slow so I decided to troll the bar. Picked up a few small bluefish. Then found a large school of small keeper trout in 30' on Rapp side of Windmill bar inside the light. Then picked up a nice 23" tip to tail Spanish. Used a gold Huntington drone on a #1 planner in 15' just outside the light. Did not have much ice so I immediately headed for home. Had two nice tasty fillets for dinner.
