A friend of mine is coming down to VA. beach for the polar plunge, he is wanting to know what can be caught on surf or in the inlets this time of year. He will be down toward Sand ridge area. Thanks for any info..:yes:

Maybe small blues or even a rockfish. If he is into surf fishing it doesnt matter if he catches, as long as ther is some hope of catching! Rockfish needs to be 28" to keep.
