When do they leave the lynnhaven area

Earl Smith. . . He was a life long crabber back in the back of Lyhnaven. He lived at the end of Hurds Road. I lived a few blocks down the road back around 1983 so that puts this one 25 years old and he was like 80 at the time.

"Puppy drum start fishing for them on Aug 15th stop when the water temps dip below 65." . .

Earl was a good man who grew up back in the reaches of Lynhaven on the water most every day of his life. . . .

Theyre still here. I catch a few when I come back from speck fishing throwing gulps under docks and around points.

Went today and saw lots of puppies. Largest 24" what a pull. Lots of smal ones though had to go through 10 for the big one. Going this week in the evening.

i caught 4 sat afternoon in Rudee Inlet...it wasnt fast and furious action but they are still here.

Had 23 in the elizabeth river on Sat.

I caught 5 in the 20 to 24 inch range yesterday in the Mobjack. They are still here!)

Puppy's

I have had some fine fishing the last two trips for Specks and we caught Puppy's also. Had one Speck that went 4lb 10oz and Friday had one that went 5lb 8oz that gave me my paper. We also caught some 20, 22 and 24" puppy's in lynnhaven fishing for speck's. they are still in lynnhaven. :clapping2:
