Not going to be able to troll this spring season. However I remember that I use to start chumming around Love Point area outside mouth of Chester River beginning first week of June buts it’s been years. I know the fish started to school up in that area and move north off Swan Point. I have always said the best chum bite was early June to around July 4th. After that it gets too hot the water and air temperature that’s when I stop fishing and start crabbing. I start fishing again in late September thru December
Thanks

Yes that’s what I stated that the best chum fishing is for about 30 days for quality fish mixed in some times a 30+ inch fish. I remember years ago we would chunk large pieces and had literally 30+ inch fish by the dozens right on the surface feeding behind the boat we would free spool a large chunk and it was like feeding them by hand what great memories
