Left Rudee at 0400 to head towards the Cigar. We put the spread out in pretty water to the SE of the weather buoy and headed towards the deep. We fished most of the day in 500 F in broken weed lines. Had 3 whites in the spread and managed to get one tight on an Eye-catcher Supra Dart. First white marlin for this boat and good company made for a memorable day. Surprisingly, no mahi bites for us. hummmm...... We contemplated doing some jigging in the evening but it looked like storms were rolling in so we headed home around 1700. Smooth ride home in following seas.
