You white perch specialists.I want a batch of white perch. Where is the best spot to find them on the flats or the susky? Must I use bloodworms or would night crawlers catch them? Thanks in advance. Les Pa :))

Les, Last trip on the flats (yesterday) the stripers weren't cooperating for us (caught a few unders & 1 flathead) tossing lures so we decided to try crawlers for WP. Fished in 15' of water just off the channel north of battery. No WP but tons of catties and two stripers...a nice fat hybrid just shy of 20" the other one was a dink...Bottom line, we could not keep the cats away from the crawlers. Two of us caught 20 or so in about an hour (it was fun). Hope someone can give you the WP report you are looking for.

Cast small jigs behind the bridge piers up in front of the VFW
If the water is running.
If the water is not running troll the same small jigs anywhere from the bridge piers down to the flats.
A small Panther Martin works wonders also.
