[5th Tuition]

5th Tuition got put to bed for the year today. Most of you are saying "Who Cares". But the main part of the post is "Thank You". I want to thank all of the people who post on the board. Where else can an average fisherman like myself get first hand information from charter captains, marina operators, tackle store owners, hardcore fishermen, and "average joe's" like myself. Every piece of fishing tackle, clothes, electronics, boats, or trailers has been discussed on the board. "How To" projects from building planner boards, changing VST filters, trailer wheel bearings, waxing boats, and everything in between; has been discussed. I'm proud to return a "hail" from a fellow TF'er on the radio and try to help put others on fish. Thanks to Brandon for keeping the board up and running. It's been a great year. I wish all of you a Happy New Year, and may your 2009 be a happy/healthy one. Marty

Marty, Thank you for your posts during the last year. This site, in general, has increased my knowledge of fishing. I just got done processing a 44 inch rockfish. Were it not for this site, I would not have known what to do, and instead of 20 pounds of filet and 5 pounds of fish nuggets, I probably would have 5 pounds of filets and 20 pounds of fish nuggets.

The people here are great. I would not have caught that fish today, if not for this board. I went out with two people I met on this board, using a charter we found out about through this board.

This board continues to be a great help to anyone doing any fishing in the Chesapeake region.

I look forward to next year and the things we will learn.
