The tackle shop that is, not the creek itself.

I needed a couple of things from the tackle shop today ( items the ocean and bay floor wanted more than I last trip) So I tooled on over to Crab Creek around lunch time and ???????? WTF ?????????

Yep it was gone !!!!!!!!!!

But I found it just down the road and the new shop is pretty sweet !

They have moved to a more convienent location ( atleast for folks with boats) they are upstairs in the Crab Creek Pizza shop right at the ramp.

I eased on up and found Jamie working on still putting the finishing touches on the new digs.

Atleast now when we have a conspiriacy meeting we can hang out up there have a drink and drool over some much needed or wished for tackle.

But look at it this way...pick up the cell phone when you hit the outer marker, call in 2 large hot pepperoni's, a couple of Tomic's, a Stretch 25 in chartruese and a dozen eels and have it all delivered to the dock about the time you idle up...hot lunch. a stretch, hit the head and head out and do it all over again

Had a pizza there a couple of months after they bought the joint. Wasnt near as good as Jimmys pizza, disappointed I tried again a couple of weeks later with same results. Large special had about 10 peperoni's and little other topping!! Bring back Jimmys recipe please and Ill be back, I miss my favorite pizza!!!!!!!!!!

NOT A SINGLE THING ON THE MENU HAS CHANGED.....for 2 months JIMMY was there in the kitchen still, with ANN~ its just human nature to "reject" change, but the ingrediants have NOT changed, Jimmy still comes in there all the time~ He needed a break and sold only the "business" he still owns the "property" and just leases it long term,

.....there is something left to be desired to the "fixers" of the items tho, thats for sure.....trouble was the "help" was only summer help and then headed back to college, every one has been replaced, some are fulltime and some are part time.....others are still in school.....if you know anyone who wants a fulltime job there,is serious and can be counted on and trusted to be there every time on time, .....have themn call Ann @ 464 9190 for down stairs help.....I have got the upsatirs covered !

by the way tom ny - you tell em how you want it and WATCH to see ensure it.....if theres a problem, i can promise Ann will correct it

THE GRAND OPENING FOR THE UPSTAIRS TACKLE SHOP WILL BE SUNDAY JAN 18TH-
Its "open" now and everyone is invited to stop in and visit......help me make a list of items that you want in there 24/7 year round.....you put it on the list and I will ensure we carry it....I will add a boat/marine section as well. Oil,Plugs,Life Vest etc etc etc.....

By the way :: Out my window I can see the 1st & 2nd island, all off Lynnhaven Pier and out the back patio I can see the entire boat ramp AND across lynnhaven inlet over to the tennis courts .......just wait until you get those live weather reports/conditions as soon as i get the phone cable and internet set back up.....right now i am there 9 to 5 for the next 3 months ......

Awesome thats what I wanted to hear, formaly the best pizza around. Im getting one tomorrow after fishing. And if your right at least one every other week there after!!! It was the same kid cooking both times I was dis-appointed. Will give pizza and fishing report Thursday night.
