Thing are improving. I fished the Windmill area starting around 10:30. Gannets were all around diving, but spread out. We were marking a lot of bait and fish, but no bites. Not a single hit until around 12:45 we saw a few boats and hundreds of birds about 1 or 2 miles north of Windmill point light. All types of birds everywhere diving, etc. We had our limit of 4 rocks between 22 and 24 inches in about 15 minutes. Did some catch and release and left them biting at 2:00. Caught about 20 fish and this time over half were bigger than 18”. They wanted the green 6” Storms on tandem with mojo. Caught them at every speed between 2 and 5 knots. They had peanut bunker in their mouths and one spit up half of a mantis shrimp! Water depth around 30’ and the temp was 53 degrees.

Thanks for the report and the details. I hope to get out this weekend. The 19' cc may have a rough time if these winds don't lay down. Happy Thanksgiving Day to all.
