Is anyone willing to offer up a favorite (productive) winter Perch Spot? Here are mine, unfortunately not on the Severn....

1) Nonjemoy Creek (off the Potomac), up-stream of the launch site, if no Perch...guaranteed Herons and Eagles!
2) Tuckahoe, where it flows through a small town
3) Upper Choptank.....upstream of Red Bridges into an area where the river narrows and that looks like a scene straight out of the movie Deliverance!

Here's hoping for some Neds that don't swallow and some whites for the black skillet!

My favorite is in December/January at the rockpiles of the bay bridge.Deep 45-65 feet water but most Perch are decent sized.

Tuckahoe, downstream from the dam at the state park. You can walk through the woods for miles fishing the deeper holes and never see anyone and the dog can run off the leash.
