Wish A Fish is holding our annual Hampton WAF Event, Saturday Sept 12th at Sunset Creek Marina. Please consider volunteering a little time for these special needs children from across the Tidewater Area. We are hosting over 150 guests for a morning of bottom fishing with lunch and an awards ceremony at noon. Wish A Fish is a 501 C3, so your expenses for the day are tax deductible.

THANKS to each of you for your continued support... I really DO appreciate it very much. We still have TWO families of three people on the waiting list. If any of you knows someone willing to volunteer, let me know! 4 Head Boats, 6 private boats filled so far... our biggest crowd yet.

When out fishing Wish-A-Fish, please provide some pics back to us here at Special Angler so these kids can get credit and potentially prize $$$ in the National Catch-and-Release tournament.

You guys should be able to knock this out of the park this weekend and rake in some bragging rights for these kids. This is the most abundant time for multi-species catches.

One of our adult Special Anglers just snagged his 11th species (see speck picture). All of our $300 sponsored prize money is still sitting on the table because no Junior Special Anglers have completed the six species, only the Adult Special Anglers. We also have our $75 prize money for any Junior Angler (not Special) on the table if they can beat the Virginia elapsed time record of 2 hours and 26 minutes set last year by Andrew Acosta.

The speck shown here was just caught by Special Angler Joe Gittinger at Cape Charles.
