I just wanted to thank everyone on Tidalfish for all of their support over the last few tough months. The holiday season is here and the kids and I are doing well. Here is a photo of the now " super mommy" and 2 kids. Not relocated off of Kent Island and setteled closer to family.

My son is doing well although experiencing fisging withdraw as the bathtub has now become his new fishing hole, complete with bass assasins.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Try and have a good holiday for your sake and the childrens, these are the roughest times of the year for your situation......

If there is anything I can do or get something for the children, please do not hesitate to pm me.....My family would love to help out anyway we could to make sure the children
(and you) get through this time of the year.

We went through a similar situation with my brother years ago , children were 6, 4 & 3 a the time, the youngest just graduated college last year....
All 3 went and graduated as a matter of fact.

This could not have been accomplished without the help of family & friends......

We take life "One day at a time"....and have for a very long time.....please do the same!

Prayers for you during what will be a difficult holiday. Glad to see in the picture you are still finding joy in the blessings that remain. I hope you can take up some folks on the offers to get the family out fishing... probably when it warms up a bit this spring.

Supermom Kim - Have a blessed Christmas... regardless of the challenges life hands you, there's always a LOT to be thankful for (looks like they're sitting in the chairs beside you in the pic).

My hat's off to you for the strength you posess.

Merry Christmas Kim...I am a teacher on Kent Island. It is a wonderful time of year however many many people are suffering this year with such a bad economy and other bad issues. My heart goes out to all of those going through tough times. It is good to know you and your children are doing well. Merry Christmas to your family! God Bless...

Thank you for the update and glad things are going as well as they are :thumbup: for the kids and you.

I'll drop the kids and you an invite in spring - Tim fished with me and maybe he'll look down and help us hook a few big Rockfish ;-).

Have a good Christmas and as others here on TF have said- do not hesitate to ask for help.Everyone here is willing to help - just ask.
