Just ate my first toadfish and was pretty happy with it. Fried it in butter and Old Bay, sorta tasted like catfish but with a different consistency. Anyone else ever eaten these? Lets have the recipes!!

I've eaten fish-head dishes of multiple variety, durian (smells like a sulfur mine), and some kind of jello-desert made out of frog ovaries. Toadfish is a line I won't cross.
Love but I will not try the Monkfish Liver sold in sushi places..
Just returned from France..Minkfish is a rare and relished..

It was under the bridge to Tighlman Island a couple years ago I was throwing two inch twistertails for jumbo WPs and caught at least 8 Toads and one was a trophy at over 15" and fat!
They were all over them chart. twistertails..
I hear they make an interesting addition to a brackish water aquarium..
About a year ago, I saw 2 tanks of live toadfish in a restaurant in Washington's Chinatown. I asked the manager, "You eat?" He replied, "Yes! Good for soup!"
