Just ate my first toadfish and was pretty happy with it. Fried it in butter and Old Bay, sorta tasted like catfish but with a different consistency. Anyone else ever eaten these? Lets have the recipes!!

I've eaten fish-head dishes of multiple variety, durian (smells like a sulfur mine), and some kind of jello-desert made out of frog ovaries. Toadfish is a line I won't cross.

I've eaten monkfish. As I recall, it wasn't bad. Now toadfish, that's not for me. Nor cow-nosed rays either.

Mmmmmmm Monkfish!

Love but I will not try the Monkfish Liver sold in sushi places..

Just returned from France..Minkfish is a rare and relished..

Hit the motherload of "Oyster Crackers" (as we called them growing up..)

It was under the bridge to Tighlman Island a couple years ago I was throwing two inch twistertails for jumbo WPs and caught at least 8 Toads and one was a trophy at over 15" and fat!

They were all over them chart. twistertails..

I hear they make an interesting addition to a brackish water aquarium..
