Shelf life of Fresh Tuna?

What's the recommended shelf life of fresh tuna?? I have a couple tenderloins of some tuna that was caught on Saturday. I'll devourer one with the next couple of days. But was thinking about having one to cook up for the games of Saturday.

Is that too long to keep before resorting to freezing?? I have plenty of friends more than willing to take it off my hands, which I would resort to before freezing. But again, I'd like to chuck a couple of freshies on the grill on Saturday.

If the consensus is that it would last that long, what's the best way to keep it?? Ziploc bag covered in fresh ice replenished daily in the fridge?

If it won't last then I guess I have to make some one else happy and resort to the cow or some swine on Saturday perhaps.

Thanx in advance!

Thanx.....I figured roughly 7 days myself. Unfortunately I don't have a vacuum sealer(thinking more and more about getting one though). My plan was to clean the tenderloin up nice and neat, put it in a fresh plastic bag and cover in ice and keep in the fridge. I figured it would keep a bit better as a tenderloin than individual steaks??

Do you think I should pat down with a paper towel to soak up some moisture before I place in the bag?? or should I wrap in a paper towel and place in a the bag and chill?? Or do what I mentioned in the first paragraph and it should be good until Saturday??
