650 50 to 100 fathoms

 

My chart says 35-37.340' north by 74-50.650' south. Goodluck

You can't have a north and south component...Has to be N or S and E or W

I'm sure you meant 74-50.650 West anything south would be below the equator, bit of a run out of OI

 

It's pretty much due east of the inlet, where it starts to drop off fast, isn't it?

 

Due east of the inlet is about the 800 line. Conner had it right. The 650 line in loran numbers is the tuna hole. No one down here uses gps numbers so make sure your machine can translate or you know how to translate by your chart. 650, 680 and 630 around 100 fathoms are all good areas as well as the point. pete

 

don't be afraid to venture into 200-300 fathoms

 

C-note is dead on, just don't run over the fish......

 

Sorry about the south thing everyone gets one mistake. Thanks for pointing that out.

 

Jay.......as said before.......dont run over the fish.........some good reports have come from areas west of the Tuna Hole...

 

Second that, went out of Oi couple weeks ago, plan was to run to tuna hole, about 1/4 the way there buddy boat changed plans because it was too rough and decided to stay inside around 20-22 fathoms and ended up having an incredible day
